12. Kentro

This hamlet is centrally located in Gaïttses and its name means “centre”. The old Slavic name was Biliova; the hamlet in the north, Vorios (meaning “North”), was called Brida; the hamlet in the east, Anatoliko (meaning “East”), was called Nerida; and only the village in the south still retains its original name, Chora Gaïtses.
