63. Episkopis

Near the Bay of Mezapos, halfway between the port village of Mezapos and the village of Stavri, lies the completely restored Byzantine church Episkopi. Built at the beginning of the 13th century, probably as a bishop's church, it contains beautiful Byzantine wall paintings from the same period .
