A few hundred meters past the Transformation Church, the provincial road makes a right-angle bend to the left. Just past the bend, on the right is the remarkable "stonemason's house". Nowadays, the view of this is largely obscured by a newly built house. The "house of the stonemason" was built in 1859 by Yanakos Kiskyras and has a beautiful facade with beautiful sculptures, in particular the two portraits of him and his wife, which you see here .
